I Tried to Avoid This. God Wouldn’t Let Me.
Hey family,
I need to share something with you that's been growing quietly—but powerfully—in my spirit.
Over the past few months, I've been wrestling with where this newsletter is headed. I've gone back and forth in prayer, trying to discern whether the burden I've been feeling is just personal or something God is calling me to share publicly.
I know you're wondering what it is by now. Or maybe not. However, I believe the Lord is calling me to utilize my healing journey to create a community where men can be vulnerable and thrive.
I didn't want to write this.
At least not right now.
Not in this season.
But the weight kept growing.
And here's the truth: God is shifting the direction of this space for his glory.
Through time in prayer and honest conversations with God, I realized I can't keep writing around the fire burning in me.
I believe He's calling me to speak directly to men—specifically:
Husbands and fathers who feel like they're carrying more than they can handle
Men battling addiction, mental illness, or shame in silence
Men in leadership who are helping everyone else while their own souls are bleeding
If that's you—or someone you know—this is for you.
The New Direction:
In the coming weeks, I will be launching a series called “The 5 Core Pillars of a Whole Man.”
It's a biblical, practical framework for what it means to become the man God designed you to be—strong in spirit, clear in purpose, rooted in identity, and healed from the inside out.
Here’s what we’ll unpack in the weeks to come:
In Christ – Identity before assignment. Who you are > what you do.
Priest – Spiritual leadership at home, in your life, and your circle.
Protector – Guarding what matters: your body, mind, heart, and family.
Provider – Not just about money, but presence, peace, and stability.
Fighter – Facing the battles that try to steal your freedom and future.
This isn’t about self-help.
This is about soul work.
This is about men becoming whole again—through Jesus, not through hustle.
If you’ve been feeling the tension, the fatigue, the silent breakdown beneath the surface…
If you've been trying to be strong for everyone but secretly falling apart…
If you're tired of just surviving and ready to become a whole man—
This is your invitation.
Let's walk this out together.
If you know a husband, father, leader, or brother in the trenches—send this to them.
Let's grow this into a community of men healing and rising together.
